The cottage is on Wharf Road which puts the Penzance harbour a short walk east, and the seafront promenade within easy reach in both directions.

Eastern Green Beach is around 750 metres on foot; the Art Deco Jubilee Pool lido - a 300-foot seawater pool opened in 1935, with a geothermal pool added in 2020 - is along the promenade. Newlyn, England's largest fishing port, is walkable in around 10 minutes south along the coast. St Michael's Mount at Marazion is 4 miles east. The Isles of Scilly ferry departs from Penzance harbour for a 2 hour 45 minute crossing to St Mary's.

Best for couples or small families wanting a town-centre cottage with easy harbour access and day-trip options across west Cornwall. Less good for those wanting a rural setting, or beach access on foot beyond a short walk.
