Lakeside lodge for four with a private hot tub
The terrace is the first thing to know about 1 Streamside. It is enclosed and gated, furnished, and holds a private hot tub. The single-storey lodge stands in the Stonerush Lakes park, among lakes and woodland in Lanreath.
Indoors, one open-plan room combines the kitchen, dining area and sitting area. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There are two bedrooms: a double with its own TV and an en-suite walk-in shower, and a twin. A separate bathroom has a bath with a shower over. The lodge sleeps four. Bed linen, towels, two bathrobes, fuel and power all come with the rent, and a highchair and travel cot are available.
Everything is on one floor, but there are steps to the lodge itself. Parking is off-road for one car, with an EV charging point. One well-behaved dog is welcome and must stay on a lead anywhere on site. Because of the lakes and the terrace, children need supervising at all times. Barbecues cannot be brought to the site, smoking is not allowed and Sunday arrivals are not permitted. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am.
The nearest shop is 4 miles away and the pub is 0.1 miles. Looe and Polperro are a short drive. The lodge suits a couple or a family of four with one dog, and is less good for small children who cannot be watched constantly around open water.
