11 Water's Edge

A private hot tub on an enclosed balcony terrace is the main draw at 11 Water's Edge, a single-storey wooden lodge on a holiday park by a lake, 0.1 miles away. The lodge is in the village of Lanreath, and the terrace, reached through double glass doors, has outdoor furniture and is safe for dogs.

Two bedrooms sleep four: a king-size with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and a twin. The family bathroom has a bath, an overhead shower and a heated towel rail. The open-plan living space combines the kitchen, dining and sitting areas, and the kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. WiFi, TV, central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included.

Parking is off-road for two cars. There is a step up to the property. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out at 10am, and Sunday arrivals are not permitted. Charging electric vehicles is not allowed, and smoking is not allowed either. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

The pub is 1.5 miles away and the shop 3.4 miles, so stock up first. Pelynt is 2 miles away, Looe 5 miles and Polperro 6 miles. The lodge suits a couple or two friends who want a hot tub and a dog-friendly terrace, and is less good for anyone who cannot manage a step at the front door.
