10 The Valley is a three-bedroom apartment in Porthcurno, set just off the lane that leads directly down to the beach. The apartment sleeps 6 and Porthcurno beach - white sand over granite bedrock in a cove ringed by high cliffs - is 500 metres away. Prices start from £499 per night.

Three bedrooms cover a mix of room configurations across one floor, with underfloor heating throughout and a private balcony. The kitchen has a dishwasher, and a washing machine is also included. A cot and highchair are available on request for younger children, and a parking space is provided on site - useful given how narrow the lanes around Porthcurno can get in summer.

The Minack Theatre - the open-air stage cut into the clifftop rock above Porthchapel - is under 15 minutes on foot from the apartment. Porthchapel beach itself is 1km; Pedn Vounder, a secluded cove accessible across rock pools at low tide, is 1.2km. Land's End is about 3 miles west along the coastal road. St Ives is roughly 10 miles north, accessible via the B3306 coast road past Zennor, or the A30 for speed.

The local area has no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance - the nearest pub and general store are about 2km away - so arriving stocked up makes sense. Porthcurno village is quiet even in August; the activity is entirely focused on the beach and the theatre.

Best for families or two couples wanting direct beach access paired with an evening at the Minack. Less good for guests expecting a town-centre setting with restaurants on the doorstep.
