The Upper Deck

The Upper Deck is a three-storey, three-bedroom cottage for six above Porthcurno, in the parish of St Levan. Three bathrooms serve the group. If you need a particular double and twin split across the floors, check the bed arrangement with the owners before booking.

An open fire is the indoor focal point rather than a wood burner, and the private garden includes a decked area for sitting out. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included. Dogs are not accepted, and three storeys mean repeated stair use through the day, so this suits guests comfortable on their feet.

Porthcurno Beach is 700 metres away, a wedge of white sand framed by granite cliffs and one of Cornwall's most photographed beaches. Porthchapel Beach is 0.7 miles off, a quiet cove below the Minack Theatre reached down a steep path with no facilities, and Pedn Vounder is 0.9 miles away, known for its natural tidal lagoons. The open-air Minack Theatre itself sits directly above Porthcurno beach, and Land's End is about three miles further west along the coast path, with Logan Rock on the way.

Friday is the changeover day.

**Best for:** six guests wanting three bathrooms, a private garden, an open fire and Porthcurno Beach within easy walking distance.

**Less good for:** guests avoiding stairs, dog owners, or travellers needing a confirmed bed layout before booking.
