2 Miller's Island

Two Miller's Island overlooks a lake at Stonerush Lakes, a holiday park near Lanreath. Looe and Polperro are a short drive away. Every room is on the ground floor, and the gated decking outside holds furniture and a hot tub.

The king-size bedroom has a TV and an en-suite walk-in shower with a basin and WC, and it opens directly onto the decking. The second bedroom is a twin, served by a family bathroom with a bath and shower over. The lodge sleeps four. Bed linen, towels, two bathrobes and travel-size toiletries are included, as are fuel and power.

The open-plan living area combines a kitchen, a dining table and a sitting area, with gas central heating. In the kitchen are an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. There are two TVs with Freeview, a DVD player and WiFi. A highchair and a travel cot without a mattress can be hired.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome and must stay on a lead at all times on site. There is off-road parking for one car and EV charging is available. The decking sits over a lake and there are other lakes on the park, so children need to be supervised at all times. Barbecues cannot be brought to the site, and Sunday arrivals are not permitted. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out at 10am.

A pub and restaurant is five minutes away on foot, and the nearest shop is 4 miles away. The lodge suits couples, a small family or friends travelling with dogs; it is less good for anyone with young children who wander near water.
