2 The Chapel

2 The Chapel is part of a converted Methodist chapel situated in countryside near the coast, while also being close to many of Cornwall’s wonderful tourist attractions in West Penwith and the Lizard Peninsula. This child-friendly property also suits a group of adults seeking peace and tranquillity or an activity holiday. It is a short walk from the beach at Rinsey Cove and there is easy access to the South West Coast Path. Porthleven, with its growing “foodie” reputation and good pubs, is a short drive in one direction and Praa is even closer in the other. Both are walkable along the coastal path – but this takes longer! Keep going west and you will come to Mount’s Bay and St Michael’s Mount on its tidal island.

A stone fireplace with a wood burner is the central feature of the open-plan ground floor. Make yourself cosy here after a busy day exploring or rustle up some tasty food in the kitchen and enjoy eating together around the dining table which seats six. A selection of books, CDs, DVDs and games are provided for adults and children to enjoy. Upstairs, you’ll find the two lovely bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, both simply decorated to create restful, calming spaces, and a bathroom.

The outside areas of this property are all delightful. Dine alfresco on the large patio, a suntrap during the day and perfect for warm evenings. Just beyond the stone wall is a further gated garden named ‘The Thicket’ – a peaceful spot with a lawned area, trees, benches and a picnic table. At the front, there is a designated parking space.
