2 The Chapel

2 The Chapel is a two-bedroom cottage for four within a converted Methodist chapel in Germoe. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other a twin, with one bathroom shared by the group. The conversion retains its stone character, including a fireplace that now houses the wood burner.

The ground floor uses an open-plan layout. Outside, a granite patio sits beside a separate gated garden called The Thicket, which has a lawn, benches and a picnic table. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included. Dogs are not accepted. The dining table seats six, and books, DVDs and games are provided for adults and children. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath. There is a designated parking space at the front.

Porthcew Rinsey Cove is 400 metres away, with the shell of an old mine engine house standing above the cliff. Praa Sands is 1.1 miles east, followed by Prussia Cove at 2.2 miles. The Germoe guide provides a wider overview of the hamlet and its surroundings.

**Best for:** a small family or two friends wanting a converted chapel, separate beds and a gated garden near Rinsey Cove. **Less good for:** four guests unwilling to share one bathroom, or anyone needing accessible accommodation.
