23 Meadow Retreat

Two dogs are welcome at 23 Meadow Retreat, a single-storey lodge on the Southern Halt park near Dobwalls. Wraparound decking with furniture, enclosed, carries the hot tub, so the outdoor space is the main draw for a group travelling with pets.

The living space is open plan, with the kitchen, dining area and sitting area in one room, and two TVs. The kitchen has a combi microwave oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. There are four bedrooms for up to 6 adults and 2 children: a king-size and a double, each with an en-suite walk-in shower and heated towel rail, plus a twin and a bunk room. A family bathroom has a bath with a shower over. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power come with the rent, and a travel cot without a mattress and a highchair can be hired.

Off-road parking is for 2 cars, and there is additional parking on site. EV charging is available at an extra cost. Pets must be kept on a lead on site. Barbecues cannot be brought to the site, smoking is not allowed, and stag, hen or similar parties are not accepted. Stays are a minimum of 3 nights, with no Sunday arrivals. Quiet hours run from 10pm to 8am, and check-in is from 4pm with check-out at 10am.

A shop is 0.5 miles away and a pub 0.6 miles. Liskeard is 2.6 miles off and Looe 8.4 miles. It is best for families or friend groups with dogs, and less good for eight adults, since the lodge takes six adults at most.
