6 Faraway Fields

6 Faraway Fields has a hot tub on furnished, enclosed wraparound decking, and it is the sort of lodge that works for a group sharing a single roof. It is a single-storey lodge in Dobwalls, with the open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area in one room and three TVs across the lodge.

The lodge takes a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children under 12. The double and one of the twins each have a TV and an en-suite walk-in shower with a heated towel rail, and the other two bedrooms are a twin and a bunk room. A family bathroom has a bath with a shower over. The kitchen has an oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, and bed linen, towels, fuel and power come with the rent. A travel cot without a mattress and a highchair can be hired.

Pets are not allowed, and smoking is not allowed either. Parking is off-road, with EV charging available at an extra cost. A maximum of two vehicles is permitted per stay, and registrations must be given to the local office. Barbecues cannot be brought to the site. Quiet hours run from 10pm to 8am. The minimum stay is 3 nights and Sunday arrivals are not permitted.

A shop is 0.5 miles away and a pub 0.6 miles, with Liskeard 2.6 miles off. It suits a family or group of up to six adults, and is less good for anyone travelling with a dog.
