4 Water's Edge

Beside a lake and surrounded by woodland, 4 Water’s Edge is a single-storey lodge near Lanreath. The king-size bedroom has its own TV, an en-suite walk-in shower with basin and WC, and a door straight onto the terrace. The twin bedroom shares the family bathroom with bath and shower over, so the lodge sleeps four with two bathrooms.

The open-plan space holds the kitchen, a dining table and a sitting area. Gas central heating is installed, and fuel and power are included in the rent. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a TV with Freeview, a DVD player and fibre optic broadband WiFi. One thing to know: the bedroom TV has no terrestrial channels and only streaming services such as Netflix. Linen, towels, two bathrobes and toiletries are included, with a travel cot (no mattress) and highchair to hire.

The terrace is enclosed and gated, furnished, and has a private hot tub. It is raised beside the lake, and with other lakes on the site children need supervising at all times. Barbecues may not be brought to the site, and electric vehicle charging is not permitted. A restaurant and pub is on site, and the nearest shop is 4 miles away.

Two well behaved pets are welcome, kept on a lead at all times on site. Parking is off-road for one car. The lodge suits a couple or a small family, and is ideal for guests happy to have a raised lakeside terrace with children watched throughout. Check-in is 4pm and check-out 10am; smoking is not permitted and Sunday arrivals are not accepted.
