4shore

4shore is a ground-floor apartment at Peninsula Apartments, above Porthminster Beach in St Ives. Its wrap-around private decked terrace runs across the front and side, furnished with a rattan corner sofa, a sun lounger and a glass-topped table with four chairs. Views take in St Ives Bay from the harbour round to Gwithian, and the living space, master bedroom and twin room all look out over them. The beach is 0.2 miles away, the pub 0.1 miles and the shop 0.3 miles.

The open-plan living area has floor-to-ceiling windows, two leather sofas, a Smart TV with Sky including sports and movies, and a PS3. The kitchen has a granite island, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a coffee maker. The master bedroom is a super-king with an en-suite double shower and French doors onto the terrace. The second bedroom has two single beds, which can be joined as a super-king if you ask at least seven days before arrival. The family bathroom has a double-ended bath with a shower over. Four guests can sleep here, plus an infant, and a highchair and travel cot are available on request; bring your own cot bedding.

There is a designated parking place for one car, in an underground car park with a height limit of 2 metres. Pets are not allowed and the apartment is no smoking. Electric bikes and scooters, including their batteries, must not be recharged or stored inside at any time. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is from 10am.

The apartment suits a couple or a family of four with a baby, and is best for guests who want an outdoor sea-view terrace; it is less good for anyone with a dog, as pets are not accepted.
