Carbis Bay beach is 400 metres down the hill - a wide arc of pale sand with lifeguard cover from May to September. Porthkidney Beach, the quieter spit of sand between Carbis Bay and Lelant, is 1.8km along the coast path. St Ives harbour, with the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden and the Tate St Ives above Porthmeor, is 2.2km - walkable along the coast or a short train hop on the St Ives Bay Line. Porthminster Beach is 2.2km from the cottage.

Best for couples or small families who want sea views and easy beach access without paying St Ives prices. Less suited to guests who need ground-floor access or a private garden.
