Split-level Stonerush Lakes lodge with private hot tub
A wrap-around terrace with a dining area and a private hot tub is the main draw of 5 Tree Tops, a split-level lodge on the Stonerush Lakes resort in Lanreath. The living space has a kitchen and dining area on the upper ground floor, with a further area on the ground floor below.
There are two bedrooms, a king-size with an en-suite shower and a twin, with a separate shower room alongside it. The lodge sleeps four. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer, and gas central heating is fitted. A travel cot (no mattress) and highchair can be hired.
Access matters here. There are steps leading up to the property and two small steps up to the upper ground floor. The terrace and the lakes on site mean children need to be supervised at all times.
Parking is outside the lodge for one car. The on-site restaurant is a five-minute walk, and the nearest shop is 4 miles away. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out at 10am, and Sunday arrivals are not permitted.
No pets or smoking are allowed, barbecues cannot be brought to the site, and electric vehicles cannot be charged. The lodge suits a couple or a small family who want a hot tub, and it is less good for anyone with toddlers or anyone who finds steps hard.
