6 Water's Edge

6 Water’s Edge holds a lakeside position within the grounds near Lanreath, with an EV charging point at the lodge. Everything is on one floor. The king-size double has built-in wardrobe space, a dressing table and an en-suite shower room, the second bedroom is a twin, and the family bathroom has both a bath and a shower.

Open-plan living brings together a sitting area with a woodburner, the kitchen and a dining table, with gas central heating as well. Fuel and power are included in the rent. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, and the lodge has a TV with Freeview, a DVD player and fibre optic broadband. Linen, towels, two bathrobes and toiletries come with the booking; a travel cot (no mattress) and highchair are available to hire.

Large doors open to the decked area, which is enclosed, gated and furnished, and to the hot tub, which is private. The deck stands over the lake, and other lakes lie across the site, so children need supervising at all times. Barbecues cannot be brought to the site. The on-site pub and restaurant is a five-minute walk and the shop is 4 miles away.

Off-road parking takes one car. Two well behaved dogs are welcome, on a lead whenever on site. This lodge suits a family of four or two couples, and is best for guests who want to arrive in an electric car. Check-in is 4pm and check-out 10am, smoking is not allowed and Sunday arrivals are not permitted.
