60 Valley Lodge

60 Valley Lodge is a reverse-level lodge at Honicombe Manor holiday resort, near Callington and 2.3 miles from Gunnislake. The four bedrooms are all on the ground floor: a double with Jack and Jill access to a Jacuzzi bath, a twin, and two singles, sharing a shower room with a walk-in shower. The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area is on the first floor, with a balcony.

The kitchen has an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with freezer box, washer/dryer, dishwasher and coffee machine. There are two TVs, a radio and WiFi, heating is electric central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available. Outside is a private patio with decking and furniture, and there is one off-road parking space. A hot tub was added in May 2025; ask the agent whether it is for the lodge alone.

Guests can use the park's indoor swimming pool all year and its outdoor pools from May to September, plus a sauna, mini-gym, games room and tennis courts, with a bar and restaurant and a small shop at reception. The lodge takes a maximum of six guests including infants, and in peak season only week-long bookings. It is for holidays only, with no worker or business bookings and no stag or hen parties.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome and smoking is not allowed. The lodge is reached by 30 steps and may not suit anyone less mobile. It suits a family of six who like the park's leisure facilities, and is less good for anyone who cannot manage the steps.
