7 Stonerush Valley

A four-poster king-size bed, with its own en-suite shower room, anchors 7 Stonerush Valley, a lodge on the Stonerush Lakes park near Lanreath. Everything is on the ground floor. The second bedroom is a twin, and the lodge sleeps four.

Beyond the en-suite there is a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC. The open-plan living area has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Gas central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Doors lead onto a terrace with a private hot tub. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and they must be kept on a lead at all times on the park. Parking is off-road for one car, and a travel cot (no mattress) and highchair can be hired.

The park has its own lakeside restaurant, The Old Mill, a five-minute walk away. The nearest shop is 4 miles off. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out at 10am. Children need to be supervised at all times because of the balcony terrace and the lakes, barbecues cannot be brought to the site, and electric vehicles cannot be charged.

Sunday arrivals are not permitted, and smoking is not allowed. The lodge suits a couple or family with dogs, and it is best for guests who want everything on one level.
