Two-bedroom apartment on the Fernhill development above Carbis Bay, sleeping four with sea views across the bay to Godrevy lighthouse. Roughly 200m down the hill to Carbis Bay beach, the sheltered Blue Flag sand that faces north across St Ives Bay.

The layout is open-plan: kitchen, dining and sitting area in one light, sea-facing room. The dining table seats four and overlooks the bay. The kitchen is fitted for self-catering with a dishwasher and washing machine. Decor leans nautical - this is a coastal apartment, not a period cottage, and there is no wood burner or open fire.

Carbis Bay railway halt is a short walk for the branch-line train, the 5-minute coastal run into St Ives where Tate St Ives sits above Porthmeor surf beach. Porthminster Beach Cafe is 1.8 km along the South West Coast Path. Off-street parking is included, which matters in July and August when Carbis Bay's car park fills before 10:00.

For walks straight from the door, head west on the coast path past Lelant church and the Hayle Estuary RSPB reserve, or east along the cliff above the bay into St Ives in 25 minutes.

Best for two couples or a small family who want sea views, a beach within walking distance, and a quieter base than St Ives itself. Less good for dog owners (not pet-friendly) or anyone wanting a wood burner and traditional cottage feel.
