April Cottage

A four-bedroom cottage on the Roserrow estate near Polzeath, sleeping eight across five bathrooms. Two bedrooms have en-suites (one with bath and shower, one shower-only), a third bedroom has a family bathroom opposite, and the ground floor has a shower room and a separate wet room. The layout is spacious: open-plan sitting room with dining area and conservatory on the ground floor, a breakfast kitchen, utility room, and a dedicated games room.

Outside, a south-facing patio has outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ. Views take in the Roserrow lakes and adjacent golf course rather than the sea. Driveway parking for at least two cars. Dogs are welcome. Verified prices start from £998/week.

Polzeath Beach is 1.2 miles from the cottage - a wide, north-facing surf beach and one of the most popular in north Cornwall for beginner surf lessons. Daymer Bay is 1.3 miles away, a calmer and more sheltered alternative on the Camel Estuary. Rock village is a short drive, with the passenger ferry across the Camel to Padstow and its harbour restaurants.

Best for: groups of eight - particularly families or two couples - who want generous space, indoor games, and surf-beach access in north Cornwall. Less suited to guests wanting a coastal or sea-view setting; the estate sits inland.
