Polzeath Beach is 0.6km away, with consistent beginner-friendly waves and rock pools at the southern end. Greenaway Beach, a quieter cove with good snorkelling, is 0.8km in the other direction. The property has parking and accepts one dog.

Polzeath sits on the north Cornwall coast, about 2 miles from Rock and the water taxi to Padstow. Port Isaac is 6 miles north. Several surf schools operate from the beach between Easter and October, and the coast path walk from Polzeath to Pentire Point gives views across the Camel Estuary to Stepper Point.
