Rock sits on the Camel Estuary opposite Padstow, with a seasonal water taxi connecting the two towns. The local sandy, sheltered beach is used for sailing and paddleboarding. Daymer Bay Beach is 1.6 miles away, followed by Greenaway Beach at 1.8 miles and Polzeath Beach at 1.9 miles.
