Belmont is a single-storey detached bungalow on Rock Road in Rock, the estuary village facing Padstow across the Camel. The property has a private sauna and a woodburning stove - both useful additions for a north Cornwall holiday outside summer months.

All 4 bedrooms are on one level: a king-size and a double each have their own en-suite bathroom, plus 2 twin rooms share a main bathroom with bath and walk-in shower, and a separate shower room. The sitting room has a woodburning stove and Smart TV with sound bar. The kitchen-diner is well equipped with an electric oven, hob, 2 fridges, freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher. A utility room is adjacent.

Off-road parking takes 4 cars - a real advantage in Rock where summer parking is tight. The enclosed rear garden has a decked area, lawn, and outdoor furniture. Daymer Bay Beach, a sheltered estuary beach with calm shallow water at the mouth of the Camel, is 1.3 miles away. Greenaway Beach, a quieter cove accessible only on foot with rock pools and snorkelling, is 1.6 miles south.

Rock's water taxi to Padstow runs every 20 minutes and opens up Rick Stein's restaurants and the harbour without needing to drive. The Camel Trail cycle path starts at Wadebridge, 4 miles south. Polzeath and its surf beach are about 2 miles north, and Port Isaac is 8 miles up the coast.

Best for larger groups or two families sharing, with four bathrooms serving four bedrooms and parking for four cars in a village where spaces are tight; less suited to guests requiring step-free access, since the bungalow is not listed as accessible despite being single-storey.
