Ground-floor 2-bedroom apartment on the Tintagel clifftop with a direct view across to the castle headland. Sleeps 4 plus up to two dogs. The South West Coast Path runs past the cottage, making this a base for walkers as much as castle-spotters.

The king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom is a triple bunk - a double bed below and a single above - which suits one adult and a child or two children. A second bathroom serves the rest of the apartment. The kitchen has a dishwasher and the apartment has EV charging and off-road parking. No washing machine and no Wi-Fi listed, so plan around that if you need to work remotely or stay long-term.

The view is the reason to book: Tintagel Castle sits across the gorge, reached by the 2019 footbridge spanning a 58-metre drop. Bossiney Cove, a sandy tidal cove with the Elephant Rock formation, is 0.8 miles north on the coast path. Trebarwith Strand sits 2 miles south.

The village shops, pubs and the Old Post Office (14th-century National Trust manor house) are a 5-minute walk away. Best for couples or a small family with a dog who want a single-level base with the headland in the window. Less good for groups needing Wi-Fi, washing facilities, or an enclosed garden.
