There is no washing machine, but a laundrette operates in the village. A shared front garden provides outdoor space.

Bossiney Cove is the nearest beach at 0.8 miles - a sandy cove reached by steep steps, popular for swimming and bodyboarding. Tregardock Beach is 3 miles along the coast. The pub is 200 metres from the front door, and the nearest shop is 0.4 miles.

Tintagel Castle (English Heritage) is the main draw - clifftop ruins linked to the Arthurian legend, reached by a footbridge opened in 2019. Below the castle, Merlin's Cave is accessible from the beach at low tide. The Old Post Office on Fore Street, a 14th-century National Trust property, and St Nectan's Glen with its 60-foot waterfall are both within easy reach. Prices start from £2,438 per week.
