Falcon House

Falcon House is a ground-floor apartment on Fore Street in Tintagel, the village's main street. It sleeps 4 across a king-size bedroom and a twin, with one shower room. The property is close to shops and the village pub, both within 0.1 miles.

The interior has an open-plan kitchen and dining area equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, air fryer, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher. A separate sitting room has a Smart TV and WiFi. Electric heating and all linen and towels are included. A highchair is available on request.

A side courtyard provides outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Off-road parking fits two cars. Bossiney Cove Beach - a sandy cove with turquoise water and Elephant Rock, accessible at low tide only - is 0.8 miles north along the coast path. Tregardock Beach, a more remote sandy shore, is 2.9 miles further northeast.

Tintagel is defined by its clifftop castle ruins (English Heritage), reached via a 58-metre footbridge opened in 2019. Merlin's Cave is accessible from the beach below at low tide without a ticket. The Old Post Office on Fore Street is a 14th-century farmhouse managed by the National Trust, and St Nectan's Glen - a 60-foot waterfall through a rock arch - is a short drive away.

Best for a couple or small family who want to be in the heart of Tintagel village, a short walk from the castle and shops. Less good for anyone timing a trip around the beach - Bossiney Cove is only accessible at low tide.
