Aubyn Lodge Spa

Aubyn Lodge Spa is a single-storey lodge on Clowance Holiday Park, close to Praze An Beeble. The centrepiece is the decking, set with outdoor furniture and a hot tub.

Inside, the open-plan room combines a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area warmed by an electric fire. The kitchen has a double electric oven, a four-ring ceramic hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer, and there are three TVs and WiFi. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are all included in the rent.

There are 2 bedrooms, both with a TV. The double has its own en-suite bathroom with a bath, a shower over the bath, a basin and a WC, and the washer/dryer sits in this room. A separate shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The lodge sleeps four; a highchair can be requested, though the travel cot is difficult to place and its mattress and linen are not supplied.

Park facilities include an indoor swimming pool and spa, a gym, tennis courts and the Lakeview restaurant, and EV chargers are in the site car park. One car has designated parking near the lodge, with more space in the on-site car park. The lodge stands on a slope, so take care underfoot. It suits two couples or a small family, but it is less good for anyone travelling with a dog, as no pets are allowed, and smoking is not permitted. Hot tub water is changed between stays, so it may not be at full temperature on the first night. A refundable bond applies.
