St Ives Lodge 2 Spa

St Ives Lodge 2 Spa is a two-storey lodge on Clowance Holiday Park, near Praze An Beeble, with its twin bedroom on a mezzanine floor. It sleeps four: two adults and two children.

The king-size bedroom has a TV, and the twin bedroom is on the mezzanine floor. The shower room has a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC. The open-plan living area combines a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, and the kitchen has an electric oven, a four-ring ceramic hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a kettle and a toaster. Central heating, WiFi and a TV are included, with fuel and power, bed linen and towels.

On the decking there is furniture and a hot tub. After each stay the tub needs water checks and changes, which can mean it is not at its best temperature on the first night. A highchair is available on request, and a child's cot can only be set up in the king-size bedroom.

Steps lead up to the property, so take care when arriving. One car can be parked near the lodge, with more space in the on-site car park, which also has EV chargers. The park has a Lakeview restaurant, an indoor swimming pool and spa, a gym, tennis courts, disc golf, a recreational lake and rowing.

It suits a couple, or a couple with two children; the mezzanine twin and the steps at the entrance make it less good for guests who find stairs difficult. Pets are not allowed and neither is smoking.
