Badgers At Langoose

Badgers at Langoose is a three bedroom stone cottage for six near Lanhydrock, the National Trust estate south of Bodmin. The bedrooms comprise a king size, a double and a bunk room, plus a sofa bed, though the stated occupancy stays at six. Three bathrooms give the group strong capacity even when full.

A hot tub and a wood burner are included, and the enclosed garden has a barbecue and room for up to three dogs. WiFi, parking and a dishwasher are also provided, though there is no washing machine, so longer stays need a plan for laundry.

The cottage has direct access to Lanhydrock Estate parkland, with its 900 acres of woodland, magnolia gardens and mountain bike trails, and the Cardinham Woods trail centre nearby. The coast is some way off: Carlyon Bay is 7.4 miles away, Charlestown Beach 7.9 miles and Readymoney Cove 8.2 miles, so this suits an inland stay more than a beach-first one. Bokiddick is the nearest town.

**Best for:** Families or groups wanting three bathrooms, a hot tub, wood burner, estate parkland access and room for three dogs.

**Less good for:** Beach-first stays, guests needing an on-site washing machine, EV charging or step-free access.
