Barachy is a first-floor apartment sitting above Coverack Beach on the eastern coast of the Lizard, sleeping 6 across 3 bedrooms - 2 king-size and 1 twin. The front living room looks out over the bay, and two furnished balconies give the same sea views. The beach itself is 200 metres from the front door.

Inside, the apartment has 2 bathrooms, Wi-Fi, dishwasher, and washing machine. The open layout works well for families or two couples travelling together. Dogs are welcome, and 2 parking spaces come with the property - useful in Coverack where road parking fills quickly in summer.

Coverack village has a working harbour, a couple of cafes, and the Paris Hotel. The coast path south to Cadgwith runs 4.4 miles through internationally significant geology - the Lizard Complex’s serpentine and gabbro rocks surface along the foreshore. Roskilly’s Farm, an organic working farm with ice cream and a tearoom, is under 2 miles inland. Helston with Flambards is about 10 miles north. Cadgwith is 4.4 miles south along the path.

**Best for:** Families or two couples wanting sea views without paying coastal-premium prices. A calmer alternative to busier north coast surf villages.

**Less good for:** Those wanting evening entertainment or a lively resort - Coverack is a quiet, end-of-road village with limited nightlife. No hot tub or wood burner.
