Bay View

Bay View is a two-bedroom cottage in the Crags area of the Maenporth Estate, a gated 29-acre resort above the sheltered cove at Maenporth. The property sleeps two across an en-suite master bedroom and a second bedroom with bunk beds, and comes with a private hot tub included in the weekly tariff. Rates start from GBP 632/week for off-peak weeks.

Inside, the master bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, with a family bathroom serving the second bedroom. Both bathrooms have underfloor heating. The kitchen runs in an L-shape as part of an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, and a wooden table with six chairs on the main balcony is set up for outdoor meals with views across the bay. Wi-Fi, BBQ, and parking are all included.

The estate facilities are open to all guests at no additional charge: a 15-metre indoor swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, sun terrace and communal barbecues, plus an all-weather tennis court, two pickleball courts, and a children's play area. The South West Coast Path runs directly through the estate, giving cliff walks east and west without needing to drive.

Maenporth Beach is around ten minutes' walk downhill, with a cafe, the Cove Restaurant, and kayak and paddleboard hire at the cove. Falmouth is three miles north for harbour walks, the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, and seasonal ferries to St Mawes. Best for couples or small groups wanting resort facilities - pool, sauna, hot tub, tennis - in a coastal setting. Less good for anyone needing to be based in Falmouth town centre day-to-day.
