Ridges 4 is a two-bedroom apartment on the Maenporth Estate near Falmouth, with a balcony directly overlooking Maenporth Beach. The estate's shared facilities - indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, tennis courts and children's play area - put it in a different category from standalone cottages on this stretch of coast.

Inside, a refurbishment has updated the kitchen, furniture, bedroom carpets and fittings throughout. The layout covers a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a single bathroom, and an open-plan living and dining area with a breakfast bar. The accommodation is arranged on one level. Wi-Fi, dishwasher, washing machine and EV charging are included.

The balcony has table and chairs for outdoor dining above the cove. An on-site restaurant and bar serves the beach below - no need to drive for food or drinks. Parking is on the estate. The South West Coast Path runs along the cliffs above the beach, connecting to Swanpool and Maenporth headland.

Falmouth is around ten minutes by car, with the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, Pendennis Castle and the ferry to St Mawes. Changeover is on Saturday.

Best for couples or pairs wanting pool and leisure facilities alongside a sandy beach. Less good for guests seeking a quiet retreat - the estate has activity throughout summer school holidays.
