The Crows Nest

A two-bedroom upper-floor apartment on the Maenporth Estate, 1.5 miles south of Falmouth and a short walk down to the beach. The Crows Nest is set up for a couple or two friends sharing - both bedrooms have their own bathroom, and there are two private balconies for separate outdoor spots morning and evening.

Inside, an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area runs the length of the apartment. The master has an ensuite shower room; the second bedroom uses a separate bathroom across the hall. Both bedrooms open onto the second balcony. Dishwasher, washing machine and wifi are included.

Estate facilities are the draw here: a 15-metre indoor heated swimming pool with poolside seating, a sauna, jacuzzi and a wifi-equipped pool lounge, plus a sun terrace and communal barbecues. Parking and EV charging are on site.

Maenporth Beach is a short walk from the door - a sheltered south-facing cove with the Cove Restaurant on the sand. The estate covers 29 acres of mature gardens and woodland and you'll often see hares and squirrels on the lawns. The South West Coast Path runs along the cliffs to Swanpool and Falmouth (north) or south through woodland to Trebah and the Helford.

Best for couples who want pool access without a hotel feel. Less good for families with young children needing more than a sleeps-two layout.
