Birdsong

Birdsong is a single-storey holiday annex in the village of Gulval, laid out for two. The king-size bedroom has a dressing room beside it, and the shower room has a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail. Everything sits on one level, which keeps the layout simple.

The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine and a fridge with an ice box, and there is a Smart TV and WiFi. It has gas heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all covered by the rent.

Outdoors there is a private lawn with furniture, and off-road parking for two cars. One small, well-behaved dog is welcome; a dog larger than a small one may lead to refused entry or a fee. Two booking rules matter here. Stays are for a minimum of seven nights, and the annex accepts babies of up to 12 months only, so older children cannot be booked in. Smoking is not allowed. It suits a couple on a week or longer, and it is less good for families with children over a year old.
