This apartment has its own private entrance to a former manor house, making a romantic bolthole for couples. Long Rock Beach is 2.5 miles, and the cafes and bistros of Marazion, looking across to St Michael's Mount, are 6 miles away. St Ives (6 miles) is a longstanding favourite with artists and surfers, and Sennen Cove's beaches are within 12 miles to the west. Penzance, the largest town in the area, is 2 miles away with art galleries, restaurants and a cinema, plus the Jubilee Pool, a salt water lido with a geothermal pool.

The private entrance hall leads through to an inner hallway with doors to all rooms. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has exposed stonework and high ceilings, with a sofa, Smart TV and an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave in the kitchen area. The double bedroom has plenty of storage and large windows overlooking the shared gardens, and the heritage bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC.

Guests can use the shared gardens and the resort clubhouse, which has an indoor swimming pool, an all-weather tennis court, and food and drink during the high season. There's also a small on-site shop and a laundrette. Off-road parking is available for one car, with further parking nearby.

**Best for:** couples wanting a quiet base near Penzance with resort extras like the pool and tennis court on hand. **Less good for:** groups or families, since the apartment sleeps only 2 in a single bedroom.
