Little Pip

Little Pip is a one-bedroom cottage at Trenow Farm in Gulval, sleeping two with one bathroom. An open fire and garden are available, and the property is run as adults-only. Wifi and parking are included. No washing machine or dishwasher on site.

Eastern Green Beach is 1.3km downhill - a flat sandy stretch on the eastern side of Penzance Bay. Long Rock Beach is 2km and Marazion Beach 4km, with St Michael's Mount visible from the shoreline road. The National Trust owned tidal island is accessible on foot at low tide and by ferry at high water; the castle itself dates from the 12th century.

Gulval sits above Penzance on the northern slope of the peninsula. Penzance town centre - with the Jubilee Pool (a 1930s lido), the promenade, and the Scillonian III ferry to the Isles of Scilly - is about a mile west. Newlyn, Cornwall's largest working fishing harbour, is a 10-minute walk south along the coast road. The Penlee House gallery holds a significant collection of Newlyn School paintings.
