St Just's mining heritage is among the most dramatic in Cornwall. The Crowns engine houses at Botallack sit on the cliff face a short drive north, and the coast path from Cape Cornwall runs past them. Levant Mine and Geevor Tin Mine are both open to visitors.

Best for a family wanting a woodburning stove and an easy walk into St Just's shops and pubs. Less good for anyone arriving in a wide vehicle, since the access lane to the parking is only 6 feet 11 inches wide.
