Detached four-bedroom farmhouse at Bosworlas hamlet, a mile south of St Just, sleeping 6. Cape Cornwall - the only headland in England named a "cape" - sits a mile to the west.

Four bedrooms upstairs, single bathroom downstairs (worth flagging for a six-person group). The sitting room runs off an open fire with oil central heating as the main source. Wifi, dishwasher and washing machine are included; parking takes three cars. Garden is enclosed on three sides, but the cottage is not dog-friendly - check elsewhere if you're travelling with one.

The South West Coast Path runs along the cliffs above Cape Cornwall, with the Botallack engine houses 2 miles north and Geevor Tin Mine museum at Pendeen another mile beyond. Priest's Cove is 1.8 miles away for sheltered swimming; Sennen Cove and Land's End are both within 5 miles south. St Just village - bakery, two pubs, the Wayside Folk Museum - is a short walk or drive.

Best for two families or three couples wanting space, an open fire, and direct coast-path access. Less good for groups expecting two bathrooms, dog owners, or guests who want shops and restaurants on the doorstep - it's a quiet hamlet, not the village.
