Two enclosed courtyards sit either side, one with a chimenea for evenings. No on-site parking - cars use the lay-by opposite, which is the main caveat for a property of this size.

The South West Coast Path is walkable from the door, with Geevor Tin Mine museum half a mile north at Pendeen and Cape Cornwall 2 miles south. Priest's Cove is 2.9km, Sennen surf beach is 7.7km, Land's End 7.5 miles south. St Michael's Mount and St Ives both sit around 11 miles east, both reachable on the same coastal road.

Best for couples or two families wanting a characterful base for mining heritage, coast path walking, and Penwith art trails. One dog welcome. Less good for guests who need adjacent parking, a wood burner, or a buggy-friendly garden - the courtyards are paved.
