It sits at Bodmin Parkway, with a train station and car hire on the doorstep. Bodmin, known for its historic gaol, shops and eateries, is 4 miles away, and Bodmin Moor is 3.5 miles. The Cornish south coast is 12 miles, Lantic Bay 14 miles, the Eden Project 12 miles, and Tintagel Castle 20.5 miles.

Inside, an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a beamed ceiling and views across rural Cornwall. The kitchen has a wine fridge, and the lounge a Smart TV and wood burner for cooler evenings. Both bedrooms have a Smart TV and en-suite shower room; one has a king-size zip-and-link bed that converts to a twin on request.

Outside, a BBQ and hot tub sit in the garden, with parking for two cars in allocated on-site bays. Dogs are welcome on the lawn.

Best for couples or a small family with a dog, thanks to the hot tub, wood burner and lawned garden, plus rail access at Bodmin Parkway. Less good for larger groups, since the property has only two bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms for four guests total.
