Middle Break

Middle Break is a two-bedroom stone cottage for four guests near Bodmin, with Cardinham Woods recorded as the nearest town. One bedroom holds a double bed and the second is a king-size zip-and-link that converts to twins on request, and two bathrooms serve the two bedrooms.

A wood burner and private hot tub anchor cooler evenings, and the garden holds a BBQ for warmer ones. WiFi, parking and a dishwasher are included, and up to three dogs can stay. There is no washing machine, no EV charging point and no step-free access, so guests should plan laundry and mobility needs around those gaps.

Cardinham Woods' waymarked trails, including the route past the 12th-century ruin of Lady Vale Chapel, start about ten minutes' drive away, and Bodmin's Camel Trail cycle path and steam railway are also within reach. Readymoney Cove is 8.1 miles away, Carlyon Bay is 8.3 miles and Lantic Bay is 8.6 miles, so this is an inland base for guests happy to drive to the coast.

Bodmin itself is 4 miles off, with Bodmin Moor 3.5 miles away for open moorland walking, and Fowey and Tintagel both within reach for a day out.

**Best for:** Two couples or a small family wanting flexible king-or-twin sleeping, a private hot tub, wood burner and space for three dogs, close to Bodmin Moor.

**Less good for:** Guests needing on-site laundry, step-free access, EV charging or a beach within a short drive.
