Little Beechwood

Little Beechwood is a single-storey annexe near Bodmin for four guests, with the moorland village of Blisland as its nearest town. One bedroom has a king-size bed; the twin can be prepared as a super king on request. Vaulted ceilings run through both rooms, which share a single bathroom.

A wood burner, Wi-Fi, parking, dishwasher, washing machine, woodland garden and barbecue are included, and up to two dogs can stay. There is only one bathroom for the whole property, so the single-storey layout still needs a short walk between rooms rather than an en-suite each.

Port Gaverne Beach is 7.3 miles away, Tregardock Beach is 7.6 miles from the property and Bossiney Cove Beach is 10.3 miles, making all three a drive rather than a walk. The Camel Trail, the traffic-free cycling and walking route between Bodmin and Padstow, passes close by. Blisland itself sits about 700 feet up on the edge of Bodmin Moor, with its village green, Norman church and the multi-award-winning Blisland Inn a short drive away. Rough Tor and Brown Willy, Cornwall's highest point, are within reach of the open moor beyond.

**Best for:** a family or two couples wanting flexible beds, laundry, dishwasher, wood burner, parking, woodland garden and room for two dogs. **Less good for:** guests wanting more than one bathroom, EV charging, step-free access or beaches within walking distance.
