Brunnion Cottage

Brunnion Cottage is a single-storey, fully accessible cottage at Lelant Downs, part of a small barn conversion between Hayle and St Ives, sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms. All rooms are on the ground floor, with step-free access throughout and a private decked area to one side.

Inside, a double and a twin bedroom share a walk-in shower room. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting area works as one space, with a dishwasher, Smart TV, and WiFi included. Outside, a rattan-furnished summer house sits off the decking alongside a dining table and a BBQ. Two cars park off-road, and up to two dogs are welcome with direct access to the enclosed garden.

Carbis Bay is 1.6 miles away - a Blue Flag beach with RNLI lifeguards in season and calm, sheltered water well-suited to families and paddleboarders. St Ives itself is a short drive or a branch-line train from Lelant Saltings station, giving access to four more beaches, the Tate gallery, and a harbour-side food scene. A farm shop and pub sit within 2 miles of the cottage.

**Best for:** Families or groups needing ground-floor accessibility, dog owners wanting a rural base with easy reach of St Ives. **Less good for:** Those wanting to walk to the beach - the nearest shore is a drive away, and the village of Lelant Downs has limited on-foot amenities.
