Brynmaur

Brynmaur is a detached single-storey bungalow on Tregos Road in Carbis Bay, 300 metres from the beach. With all rooms on one level and EV charging on site, it suits guests who want practical convenience within easy reach of the coast.

Two bedrooms accommodate four: one king-size and one zip-link room that comes set as twins but converts to a super-king on request. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and a heated towel rail. Kitchen, dining room, and sitting room are separate rather than open-plan - a traditional layout that works well for a couple with guests or a small family. Dishwasher and washing machine included.

Outside, a furnished patio faces the garden. Off-road parking is provided. One dog is welcome. Note that some garden areas are not accessible to guests. Carbis Bay Beach is a 300-metre walk - a sheltered Blue Flag cove with calm swimming conditions and seasonal kayak hire. Porthminster Beach lies 1 mile along the coast path towards St Ives, where the Tate gallery and harbour restaurants are a short walk from the sand.

Best for couples or families of four who want a low-fuss base close to the beach and who arrive by EV. Less good for guests expecting a sea view - Tregos Road is residential, not coastal.
