Bude Garden House

Bude Garden House is a four-bedroom house for eight in Bude, where the River Neet meets the Atlantic at Bude Bay. The king, double and two twin bedrooms give a mixed group several sleeping arrangements without relying on bunks, and two bathrooms serve all four rooms.

A rear garden conservatory adds another place to sit, and the garden itself has a BBQ. A gas wood burner-effect fire provides a fireside feature for cooler evenings. WiFi, parking and a dishwasher are included, and a washer/dryer is in the ground floor utility room. Dogs are not accepted. One shower room with a WC is downstairs, and the upstairs bathroom has a slipper bath and a separate shower cubicle. Summerleaze Beach, home to Bude's free tidal sea pool, is 0.9 miles away. Crooklets Beach, the main surf beach, is 1.2 miles away, and Northcott Mouth is 1.9 miles from the house. The Bude Canal towpath gives a flat walking and cycling route inland, and Bude's Splash Leisure Pool and ten-pin bowling alley are among the town's family attractions for wet days.

**Best for:** Families wanting four conventional bedrooms, a conservatory, a garden, a gas wood burner-effect fire and three beaches within 2 miles.

**Less good for:** Guests needing step-free access or spa facilities, or anyone travelling with a dog.
