Lakeside Dene

Lakeside Dene is a four-bedroom stone cottage for eight near Kilkhampton, converted from farm buildings a few miles inland from Bude.

The intended split is six adults plus two children: a super-king zip-and-link room that can become twins, a king, a twin and a bunk room built for children only. One bathroom serves the whole group, worth planning around at full occupancy. Parking, a wood burner, BBQ, dishwasher and an EV charging point are included. Dogs are not accepted, and there's no WiFi or washing machine.

The private garden holds a hot tub, and guests also get access to shared on-site facilities: an indoor pool, sauna, games room, children's play area, playing fields and four coarse-fishing lakes. Children should be supervised near the water.

Sandymouth Beach is 4.6 miles away, Duckpool Beach 4.7 miles and Northcott Mouth 4.9 miles, all reachable from Kilkhampton via the coast path at Steeple Point. Tamar Lakes is about a mile from the cottage.
