Fistral Beach is 900m, the most famous surf break on the north Cornish coast and the venue for the Boardmasters music and surf festival each August. The South West Coast Path begins at the front door, running south along the coastal road toward the Gannel Estuary and Crantock Beach roughly 3km away. Newquay town centre and the rail station connecting to Par and Truro are both within easy walking distance.

Best for: groups of eight - surf-trip crews, families, or mixed groups - who want easy beach access, a proper kitchen, and coast path walking on the doorstep. Less suited to guests seeking a quiet or rural stay; Newquay in peak season is busy and the location puts you in the middle of it.
