Cartway Cove

Cartway Cove is a 3-bedroom clifftop cottage in Port Isaac, sleeping 6 with 3 bathrooms. The position gives panoramic views across the 14th-century harbour below, and Port Gaverne beach is 100 metres away - a sheltered cove with sand at low tide and rock pools on either side.

Each of the three bedrooms has its own en-suite bathroom - practical for groups of three couples or families wanting separate facilities. The cottage has a garden, parking, wifi, dishwasher, and washing machine. Changeover is Friday.

Port Isaac village is a 10-minute walk from the clifftop: Nathan Outlaw's Michelin-starred restaurant on New Road, the fish-and-chip shop, two pubs, and the Platt where the Fisherman's Friends perform. The coast path heads west to Port Quin (3km along the cliff) and east past Tregardock Beach (4.9km), a remote strand accessible only on foot. Polzeath surf beach is 7.2km south by road.

Best for two or three couples, or a family wanting en-suite convenience and immediate beach access on the north Cornwall coast. Less suited to guests with limited mobility - the clifftop path to the village involves steps and an uneven surface.
