Cherrytrees is a contemporary 4-bedroom house in a private cul-de-sac in Rock, sleeping 9 across two super-king rooms with en-suites, a twin, and a bunk room with an extra single. Bi-fold doors open the large open-plan living space onto a landscaped terrace with hot tub and BBQ - the accessible ground floor and garden layout works well for groups wanting indoor-outdoor living. A wood burner and open fire cover colder evenings.

The house has 4 bathrooms, parking, wifi, dishwasher, washing machine, and BBQ. Changeover is Thursday. The open-plan kitchen and living area runs the full width of the ground floor, with the bi-folds along one wall.

Rock sits on the east bank of the Camel Estuary, facing Padstow across the water. A water taxi runs every 20 minutes to Padstow - Rick Stein's restaurants, the harbour, and the start of the Camel Trail are all directly across. Daymer Bay, a sheltered sandy beach backed by dunes, is 2km south along the coast path; St Enodoc Church, where poet John Betjeman is buried, stands among the dunes between the house and the beach. Polzeath surf beach is 3.4km north. Rock itself has sailing schools on the waterfront and the Mariners pub.

Best for a group of up to 9 wanting good access to both surf and estuary beaches, with Padstow restaurants a short boat ride away. Less suited to guests who need direct beach access on foot - Daymer Bay requires a 2km walk or short drive.
