Chywolow Lodge

Chywolow Lodge is a four-bedroom Scandinavian-style lodge near Great Bosullow, on moorland farmland between Madron and Morvah in west Cornwall. Built specifically for wheelchair access, the lodge sleeps eight across a single ground-floor level, with two bathrooms, underfloor heating, and wide doorways throughout.

The layout suits mixed-ability groups. All four bedrooms are on the ground floor. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine, and the living spaces flow without steps or level changes. WiFi and parking are included. There is a garden. Changeover day is Saturday, stays are booked by the week, and Madron is the listed nearest town.

Priest's Cove at Cape Cornwall is 4 miles west - a granite cove with a slipway used by local fishing boats, free to access year-round. Eastern Green Beach near Penzance is 4.6 miles. Gwynver Beach, the quieter northern end of the Sennen sands, is 4.9 miles. The Merry Maidens standing stone circle (about 19 stones in a near-perfect ring) is less than 4 miles south on the B3315.

Best for groups including wheelchair users or guests with limited mobility who need a fully accessible base in Penwith. Less good for anyone wanting to walk to a beach or town - this is a rural location and a car is essential.
