Cirrus takes the first floor of a block that overlooks Carbis Bay beach, which is 0.1 miles away. The apartment sleeps four, and you reach it from the parking area down one level via fifteen steps, so it is worth knowing about before you book. The shop and pub are 0.5 miles off, and St Ives is 2 miles from Carbis Bay.

The kitchen is the first room you meet, with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and coffee machine. Beyond it is the living and dining room, where a corner sofa faces a Smart TV with a full Sky package and a table seats four, with a balcony outside. Sonos speakers, WiFi, DVDs, books and games are included, and the bathrooms have underfloor heating on top of the central heating.

The king-size bedroom has its own Juliet balcony, a Smart TV with Sky and Blu-ray, a Sonos speaker and an en-suite with a bath, handheld shower, walk-in shower and double basin. The twin bedroom also has a Smart TV and Sonos speaker, and a separate shower room with a walk-in shower serves the rest of the flat. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

A highchair and travel cot can be requested, with guests bringing their own cot bedding. There is one designated parking space, and an extra can be asked for, subject to availability. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am. The Sky box PIN cannot be provided, so daytime viewing restrictions may apply. Pets and smoking are not permitted. It suits couples or two pairs of friends sharing, and is less good for anyone who would struggle with the steps, and for guests bringing a dog.
