Cothelstone

Cothelstone is a four-bedroom cottage for eight in Polzeath, a surf village centred on a wide sandy beach that faces northwest into the Atlantic. A king, double and two twins divide the sleeping arrangements across four conventional rooms, and three bathrooms serve the group.

Sea views and nautical accents run through the interior. An elevated first-floor balcony provides outdoor seating above the garden, with a BBQ also on site. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and a washing machine are included, and up to two dogs can stay.

Polzeath Beach is 700 metres away, Greenaway Beach 0.8 miles and Daymer Bay 1.1 miles from the cottage - close enough to walk down with boards and wetsuits during the day and still return for an evening on the balcony. Several surf schools operate from Polzeath beach between Easter and October, and the coast path north to Pentire Point is one of the more rewarding short walks in north Cornwall, with views across the Camel Estuary.
